Father throws 2 children into river, search for bodies on

Ayodhya, Dec 26 (UNI) Efforts to fish out the bodies of two children, who were thrown into river Saryu by their poverty stricken father, were still on here.

Police Superintendent (city) Gopesh Nath Khanna said Sanjay Sahu, a Fatehganj colony resident, threw his children into the river yesterday evening.

The divers were still trying to find the bodies.

The accused father had been arrested.
