Maoist ultras abduct six students, a teacher in Munger
Munger, Dec 25 (UNI) Altogether six students and a teacher of a local school were abducted by Maoist extremists from a forest in Kharagpur when they had gone for a picnic here this afternoon, police today said.
Inspector General (IG) A R Kinni said 12 students, upto 15 years of age, of the J J School, had gone for the picnic along with a teacher to the forest on the occasion of Christmas festival.
However, only six students returned.
The IG said following the information given by the school administration, a massive search operation had been launched in the forest area to rescue the students and the teacher.
