Mumbai, Dec 25 (UNI) The release date of UTV Motion Pictures and Ashutosh Gowariker's much-awaited epic romantic film 'Jodhaa Akbar', starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan, has once again been rescheduled to February 15 next year.

Earlier, it was slated to be released on January 25.

The producers decided to change the release date after director Ashutosh Gowariker, who is afflicted with severe back problem, has been advised bed rest for 21 days.

Gowarikar, who was scheduled to be in Chennai for the entire week to finish the background score of the film, could not move out because of strict instructions from his doctors not to travel.

Referring to his back problem, Ashutosh said ''I am sad that this had to happen in the thick of post-production. It is unfortunate, but it has to be dealt with.'' Even the lead actor Hrithik Roshan is in Singapore nursing a bad knee.

However, the flim's soundtrack composed by music maestro A R Rahman and lyrics by Javed Akhtar will be released on January 9 through UTV's new record label UTV Music.

'Jodhaa Akbar' is a 16th century story about a marriage of alliance between the Mughal emperor Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar and the fiery young Rajput princess Jodhaa that brought two diverse souls and dynasties together.
