Issueless woman burnt alive by in-laws

Agra, Dec 25 (UNI) An issueless woman was allegedly set afire by her in-laws in Jagdishpura area of the Taj City.

In a complaint, Nagla resident Ram Babu alleged that his daughter Usha, married to Sanjay, was doused with kerosene and set on fire by her husband and in-laws late last night after she failed to deliver an heir to the family.

The victim was rushed to a closeby hospital, where her condition was stated to be life threatening, police said today.

Meanwhile, Sanhay and his mother Vimla had been arrested, while investigations are on.
