House, financial assistance for Snehankita Varute

Kolhapur, Dec 25 (UNI) Minister of State for Marketing Harshawardhan Patil today said the State Government will gift a house to Snehankita Varute, winner of four gold medals in Commonwealth Powerlifting Championship.

Mr Patil, who is also Kolhapur district Guardian Minister, was speaking on the occasion of Snehankita's felicitation here. He also assured that Snehankita will be provided with financial assistance from the Chief Minister's fund.

Snehankita (18) from Kolhapur bagged four gold medals in the commonwealth powerlifting championship, played in New Zealand recently.
