Christmas celebrated in TN with gaiety and enthusiasm

Chennai, Dec 25 (UNI) Christmas was celebrated in Tamil Nadu with traditional gaiety and enthusiasm.

Tens and hundreds of Christians participated in midnight mass, held in all the churches to mark the occasion.

Christians, attired in new clothes, exchanged greetings with their brethren.

All the churches in the state were illuminated and tastefully decorated for the occasion.

Tamil Nadu Governor S S Barnala, Chief Minister M Karunanidhi and leaders of various political parties, greeted the Christians on the eve.
