Burglars strike at 14 shops and decamp with Rs 15 lakhs cash

Mysore, Dec 25 (UNI) Burglars have sturck at 14 shops, including two godowns, in Bandiaalya APMC Yard on the outskirts of the city and have decamped with Rs 15 lakhs cash in the early hours of today.

Police said that the burglars gained entry into the shops by bending the shutters with the help wheel jack.

In protest against the incident the Traders downed their shutters and observed bandh alleging the lethargic attitude of APMC in tightening the security.
