2 killed, 27 injured in bus-lorry collision

Adilabad, Dec 25 (UNI) Two women were killed on the spot and 27 injured when a bus collided with a lorry at Gudipeta junction here today.

Police said the state-owned bus, with 40 passengers, was proceeding to Manchiryala when it collided with a pulses-laden lorry.

The deceased were Ramakka(45) and V Bakkamma (60).

The injured passengers were admitted to government hospitals at Karimnagar and Warangal.

The condition of the three was said to be serious, police added.
