Pranab stands by exiled Bangladeshi writer Taslima

New Delhi, Dec 22, 2007 : According to Foreign Minister, Pranab Mukherjee, India's policies on foreign nationals seeking shelter were applicable to exiled writer Taslima Nasreen as well.

Mukherjee also added that Nasreen should contact the concerned officials if she faces any problems regarding her stay. Nasreen earlier said that she was being forced to live under virtual house arrest in New Delhi and appealed for more freedom.
