The
first
planeloads
of
Bhutanese
refugees
living
in
Nepal
are
expected
to
leave
the
Himalayan
nation
in
January
for
resettlement
in
the
United
States.
U.S. officials will begin processing some of the 106,000 Bhutanese living in U.N.-managed camps in east Nepal. Yet thousands of refugees of ethnic Nepali origin, are running out of patience as they have been living in poor and crowded camps for years. Nepal prohibits refugees from working or even leaving the camps Life is not stable here, it's not secured and not guaranteed, no citizenship, no government. life is insecure.
