Software Training at Dharamshala and Mandi

Shimla, Dec 24 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Manisha Nanda said here today that software training for the simultaneous counting of polled EVMs will be organised at Dharamshala on December 25 and at Mandi on December 26.

Mrs Nanda said that fast flow of election results will be ensured through the Genesys software. She said that round-wise counting information from the Returning Officers will reach at District Headquarters.

Chief Electoral Officer said that Mr R. R. Pandey, Secretary(IT) Election Commission of India will give detailed tips to the trainers for the effective and speedily use of the software.

Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers will be imparted training at Dharamshala and Mandi.

Counting will take place on December 28, at 0800 hrs, as per the schedule fixed by the Election Commission.
