Rupee opens 10 paise firm against USD

Mumbai, Dec 24: The Rupee opened ten paise stronger against US currency at 39.45/46 from its previous close 39.54/55 per dollar on strong global cues resulting into good inflows in Indian equity market.

After resuming firm in the early trade, the partially convertible Indian currency was trading in range band between 39.45 and 39.53 per dollar in an active inter bank foreign exchange (Forex) market, dealers said.
