President greets people on Christmas

Hyderabad, Dec 24: President Pratibha Devisingh Patil today greeted fellow citizens on the auspicious occasion of Christmas, which would be celebrated tomorrow.

In a message from Rastrapathi Nilayam in Secunderabad, where she is currently staying, Ms Patil said, ''On the occasion of Christmas, I extend my greetings to all my fellow citizens. ''Christ's message of love, compassion and forgiveness is a message of universal and timeless relevance.'' ''I wish this Christmas fills our heart with joy, happiness and hope,'' the President said.
