Over 6,000 voter ID cards seized, 2 held
Lucknow, Dec 24 (UNI) More than 6,000 voter identity cards were seized from the shop of a scrap merchant in Naka Hindola area of the Uttar Pradesh capital today.
Working on a tip-off, the seizure was made at Abdul Gaffar's shop under Naka Hindola police station area.
According to police, these voter ID cards were prepared in 2004 and belongs to Sultanpur electorate.
Two persons, including the junk dealer, were detained in this regard.
Investigations were underway.
