Andhra Pradesh: NRIs donate Rs 20 lakh to TTD

Tirupati, Dec 24: Two Non Resident Indians (NRIs) have donated Rs 20 lakh to the TTD-run BIRRD Scheme and Sri Venkateswara Gosamrakshna Trust.

The demand draft (DD) was handed over to TTD Joint Executive Officer G Balaramaiah by Mr Govindaswamy and Mr Vijayakumar of Indonesia.

A sum of Rs 14 lakh was donated to Sri Balaji Institute of Surgery, Research and Rehabilitation for the Disabled (BIRRD) Scheme and Rs six lakh for Sri Venkateswara Gosamrakshana Trust, TTD sources said here today.
