MGR remembered in Pondy

Puducherry, Dec 24 (UNI) Floral tributes were paid to AIADMK founder and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M G Ramachandran, popularly known as MGR on his 20th death anniversary here today.

Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy garlanded the MGR statue in front of the new bus stand on behalf of the territorial administration.

AIADMK office-bearers and volunteers led by state secretary A Anbazhagan, MLA, took out a silent procession from the party headquarters at Ouppalam to the statue and garlanded it to mark the occasion.
