LT overseas acquires US rice firm

New Delhi, Dec 24: LT Overseas Ltd today said its wholly owned subsidiary has acquired the US-based Kusha Inc. Kusha Inc, with revenues of about 40 million dollars, holds a substantial share of the US rice market.

With this acquisition through California-based LT Overseas North America Inc, the makers of Dawaat basmati rice LT Overseas will consolidate its share in the US market and expects to emerge as the leading player, a company statement said.
