Governor Thakur visits H D Kumaraswamy at hopsital

Bangalore, Dec 24 (UNI) Karartaka Governor Rameshwar Thakur today visited former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, who underwent open heart surgery in a super speciality hospital here last week.

His father and former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda, his family members and some of his friends also visited the Janata Dal(S) leader after he was shifted from the ICU to a general ward at the Wockhardt Hospital today.

"Kumaraswamy is showing good progress and he is responding to the treatment well. He started walking inside the ward and he should be able to go home by the end of this week. He is alert and cheerful and is eager to get back to his day to day activities," Dr Vivek Jawali, Chief Cardiovascular Surgeon, who has performed the open heart surgery for replacement of Aortic Valve said in bulletin today.
