Governor extends Christmas greetings

Hyderabad, Dec 24 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Governor N D Tiwari today greeted Christians on the eve of Christmas.

Speaking at a reception organised at the Raj Bhavan, the Governor called upon the children to emulate the great qualities of love and compassion preached by Jesus Christ.

Jesus stood for peace and love and 'world peace' could be achieved only through the practice of his teachings.

Later, the Governor cut the Christmas cake. Cultural programmes were presented by children from various schools.
