Gen X stands for 'Generation with no sex'

London, Dec 24 (UNI) ''Free love'' is not in the air and Generation X is least involved in adultery, says a recent research.

According to the study, people who are now between the age of 20 and 40 are likely to have fewer sexual partners than the earlier and later generations.

These people place more emphasis on commitment, citing the emergence of AIDS and a boom in divorces among their parents.

''It's clear that, while Generation X has sex, obviously, it's probably not as much or as varied in styles as that of their parents or today's teenagers and students,'' the Daily Telegraph quoted the lead researcher, Edward Laumann, as saying.

The contraceptives have made Gen X more adventurous regarding sex. However, high level of relationship break-ups convinced them to stay away from adultery.
