No dispalcement without rehab policy: Marandi

Dumka, Dec 23 (UNI) Jharkhand Deputy Chief Minister Stephen Marandi today said the state government will not displace any family without announcing its new rehabilition policy.

Speaking at a function here, Mr Marandi said the state would soon come up with its new rehabilitation plan and until then, no one would be displaced.

Mr Marandi said the number of industrial houses were interested in establishing their production units in the state but government would first ensure rehabilitation of effected people.

Refering to the rural electrification scheme, Mr Marandi said that recently, a letter to the Union energy minitry had been sent to include Dumka and Godda districts in Rajeev Gandhi Rural Electrification Scheme.

Earlier, only four out of six districts of Santhal Pargana were selected under the scheme.
