Gujarat victory is vote for development: Raje

Jaipur, Dec 23 (UNI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, congratulating Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for the hat-trick for the BJP in the state, said the people of Gujarat deserves all credit for keeping their self esteem and pride intact by voting for development.

In a statement released to the press, she also showered praise on the central party leadership of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, LK Advani and party president Rajnath Singh for their mature leaderhip and guidance.

''This victory assumes all the more important as it will decide the future direction of national politics. This historic victory has emphasised the point that the voters have rejected the divisive politics of Congress and voted overwhelmingly for development'' she said. She expressed the hope that similar result will come out of the ongoing elections in Himachal Pradesh, and Rajasthan which is going to polls next year.

Government spokesman and Forest Minister Laxmi Narayan Dave and BJP state spokesman Kailash Nath Bhatt also lauded the leadership of Modi while saying that ''development won over politics of hatred''.
