BJP in Puducherry celebrates party's 'Gujarat victory'

Puducherry, Dec 23 (UNI) The Puducherry unit of the BJP today celebrated the party's victory in Gujarat Assembly polls by bursting crackers and distributing sweets at the Indira Gandhi square here.

Party state president M Visweswaran, who joined the functionaries in the celebration, said the victory showed the faith of the people of Gujarat in the BJP.

A delegation from Puducherry would take part in the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi as Gujarat Chief Minister, he added.
