1 dead, another survives joint suicide pact

Mumbai, Dec 23 (UNI) One person died while his paramour survived a suicide attempt after both consumed poison at Malshelu village as their parents were opposed to their union.

According to police, the deceased, Vijay Prahlad Rathod, died after consuming poison whereas his beloved, Madhuri, is reported to be out of danger.

Vijay was married twice earlier but, both his marriages had failed.

Parents of the couple are tight-lipped about the incident, sources said.
