Two dead, eight injured in accident

Kolhapur, Dec 22 (UNI) Two persons were killed on the spot and eight others injured, when their vehicle fell into a gorge near Yede-Nipani village in Sangli district on Pune Bangalore National Highway today.

Police sources said, the ten persons were on their way to Goa from Pune this morning, when the driver of the vechile lost control on wheel and the vechile fell into a gorge near the road.

The two deceased were identified as Gavrav Deshmukh (25), Virendra Raghuwanshi(26).

All the eight injured have been admitted at the near by Rajarambapu hospital where the condition of the three was stated to be critical, police added.
