Sugar prices remain steady

Navi Mumbai, Dec 22 (UNI) The wholesale sugar prices were flat today, at Rs 1,321 per quintal, on poor demand by bulk consumers in the face of new arrival of stocks from co-operative mills, traders at the Bombay Sugar Merchants' Association said.

Following are the spot wholesale rates per quintal: Small grade: Rs 1,321/1,375, Medium grade: Rs 1,375/1,465.

Ex-mill Small grade: Rs 1,310/1,340 and Medium grade: Rs 1,370/1,420.
