Issue orders for Tytler's arrest: Delhi BJP

New Delhi, Dec 22 (UNI) Alleging that the CBI was trying to save former Union Minister Jagdish Tytler under the pressure of the Central Government, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Harsh Vardhan today demanded the Prime Minister issue orders to the Union Home Ministry to arrest Mr Tytler immediately and send him to jail so that he may not be able to threaten the witnesses and influence the enquiry.

In a statement issued here, Dr Harshvardhan, expressing his grave doubts on the role of the CBI in this case, said,''this institution is fully trying to save Jagdish Tytler under the pressure of Central Government.'' He has also demanded the Prime Minister to get fresh enquiry in this case done by honest officers of the CBI. The Prime Minister can do justice to the Sikh community only by getting this enquiry done expeditiously and get Mr Tytler punished.

''If he as the Prime Minister does not get the guilty persons punished in the 23 years old case then the Sikh Community will never forgive Manmohan Singh,''Dr Harshvardhan said.
