Indians soldiers get along well with Chinese army
Kunming, China, Dec 22 (UNI) The Indian contingent, which is here for the joint army training, is mingling well with its Chinese counterpart.
The Indian soldiers could be seen cracking jokes with the Chinese army personnel and vice versa.
''They have learnt quite a few words from each other's languages and it was evident when Chinese soldiers started encouraging Indians during the exercises saying ''Chak De'' and ''Shabash'', said Col J S Budhwar, who is leading the Indian side.
''It is wonderful to see how a friendship is developing between the two contingents,'' he said, adding, ''our men have also picked some Chinese words and are using them to encourage communication among them.'' The two sides were also involved in playing games and a volleyball match played last evening on the academy campus was a sight to watch, he said.
''It was a friendly match but it generated lot of enthusiasm between the two armies,'' Col Budhwar added, saying it was aimed at building mutual trust.
