Bahadurgarh to be developed as industrial town

Bahadurgarh, Dec 22 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today assured that Bahadurgarh town would be developed as industrial town on Gurgaon pattern so that maximum employment opportunities could be generated in the state.

This was stated by the Chief Minister after inaugurating the Footwear Park constructed at a cost of Rs 60 crore over an area of 615 acres here.

Mr Hooda said that in the first phase of industrial development at Bahadurgarh, a sum of Rs 22.40 crore had already been incurred.

He said 247 plots in Sector 16 and 368 plots in sector 17 had already been allotted to the entrepreneurs in which investment of Rs 1009 crore would be made. Besides, 28,000 people would get employment opportunities.

He said during the second phase, Sector 18 would be developed while for the third phase the process of land acquisition in Sector 43 was going on.

Later, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of a over bridge to be constructed at a cost of Rs 21.02 crore on Delhi-Bathinda Railway Line crossing no 23 C on Bahadurgarh Nahra road.

The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of Gymkhana Club at Bahadurgarh to be constructed at a cost of Rs 3.23 crore.
