3 aides of mafia don Chota Rajan held

Allahabad, Dec 22 (UNI) The Special Operation Group (SOG) in a joint operation with city police has arrested three wanted accomplices of mafia don Chota Rajan here.

On a tip off, SOG and Daraganj police swooped upon the notorious criminals in Jhoonsi area late last night.

The arrested were identified as Sonu Pandey, Ashish Mishra and Raju Pahalwan. Their aides Rajesh Mishra and Pankaj Pandey alias Zafar Nepali are still at large, SSP Deepesh Juneja said today.

Three live bombs, two pistols and AK-47 bullets were recovered from the spot.

On interrogation, the trio confessed their involvement in several heinous crimines in the last six months.

A hunt for their associates was on.
