Six Ranvir Sena extremists arrested

Jehanabad, Dec 21 (UNI) Police arrested six extremists, including the self-proclaimed zonal commander of the banned Ranvir Sena, from the Sakurabad police station area last night.

Police said here today acting on a tip-off, raids were conducted at the hideouts of the Ranvir Sena extremists in the locality.

The self-proclaimed zonal commander Ajgaibi Sharma was wanted by the police in connection with more than 35 criminal cases, including the Miyanpur massacre.

Of the arrested extremists, four were from Aurangabad district while the others hailed from Jehanabad district.

The miscreants were being interrogated, police added.
