Silver, Gold prices firm up: BBA

Mumbai, Dec 21: Silver and Gold prices today maintained a firm trend with Silver gaining by Rs 165 per kg and Gold by Rs 20 per ten gm on fresh ornament makers demand along with bullish advice from global markets, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.

Following are the closing rates of spot Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 18,955 (18,790) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 10,280 (10,260) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 10,330 (10,310).
