Piracy spells revenue loss for Software firms

Executives
of
software
companies
are
struggling
to
find
answers
to
combat
unlicensed
software
use.
Some
firms
are
either
not
executing
their
compliance
programs
or
need
them
re-analysed
or
overhauled.
According to a recent survey by KPMG - the US audit, tax and advisory firm illegal and unlicensed software installations continue to be a major problem and are a source of revenue loss for software companies worldwide. 55% of the executives estimated that their firm's revenue loss was more than 10% of total revenue.
