Death sentences for four in murder case

Sasaram, Dec 20 (UNI) A local court today awarded death sentences to four people for their involvement in kidnapping and subsequent killing of a minor boy.

Additional district judge of Fast Track court Umesh Chandra Mishra awarded the death sentences to the four after they were found guilty of kidnapping and subsequent killing of Ujjwal, a minor son of one Jaiprakash. Three others were also sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment in the same case.

According to the charges, the convicts had kidnapped Ujjwal from Hariharganj village in Rohtas district on March 21, 2004 and later he was killed by them. Police had recovered the body of the boy from the bank of river Sone.
