Cold continues despite slight rise in minimum temp

New Delhi, Dec 20 (UNI) Delhites today woke up to another cold day even as the minimum rose slightly to 5 degrees Celsius from yesterday's 4.2 degrees which was the season's coldest so far in the capital.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 5 degrees, which is 3 degrees below normal. The maximum was 22.2 degrees, one degree below normal.

Though visibility was low, it did not affect the operation of flights in the capital.

The Met office predicted mainly clear sky for tomorrow which is likely to be partly cloudy later in the day. Shallow fog or mist will prevail in the morning and the minimum temperature will be around 5 degrees Celsius.
