Gujarat poll counting on Dec 23

Ahmedabad, Dec 19 (UNI) Counting of votes for Gujarat Legislative Assembly elections, which were held in two phases on December 11 and 16, will be held on December 23.

The counting of votes will be done at 37 centres by Election Commission (EC) officials, an official release said here today.

Total 1,268 contestants fought the elections for 182 seats the release said.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made to ensure that no untoward incident takes place during the counting.
