Kalam advises children to acquire knowledge through hard work

Bhopal, Dec 18 (UNI) Former President A P J Abdul Kalam today said children should constantly make efforts for acquiring knowledge in order to achieve their goals.

Dr Kalam stated this while addressing children at St Joseph Co-Ed School in the state capital today.

''Having a goal is essential for achieving something in life.

This can be achieved through hard work, perserverance and acquiring knowledge,'' he said, adding that children had immense potential and should constantly work under right guidance to reach their goal.

Earlier, Dr Kalam inaugurated a science exhibition He interacted with children and replied to their questions.

Earlier, school children welcomed Dr Kalam and presented flowers to him. A cultural programme was also presented by them.
