JVM(P) activist gunned down by JLT

Latehar, Dec 18 (UNI) Jharkhand Liberation Tiger (JLT) militants today gunned down a Jharkhand Vikas Morcha(P) member, a social worker in this district today.

Pradeep Bhagat (35), a resident of Lawagarah village, yesterday went to Balumath and was returning home in the evening when JLT ultras kidnapped him. At about 0600 hrs this morning he was shot dead near Girinja more on Balumath-Chandwa under Balumath police station.

Police recovered a letter left by the ultras near the body in which Pradeep was accused of passing information to the police.

The letter also warned others not to act as police informers to avoid such punishemnt.
