Pondy: Ex-CM Venkatasubba remembered

Puducherry, Dec 18: Floral tributes were paid to former Puducherry chief minister Venkatasubba Reddiyar on his 98th birth anniversary here today.

Chief Minister N Rangasamy, Mr Reddiyar's son and Agriculture Minister V Vaithilingam, Welfare Minister M Kandasamy and Tourism Minister Malladi Krishna Rao and senior officials of the territorial administration, were among those, who garlanded the statue of Mr Reddiyar.

PCC president P Shanmugham and party office bearers also garlanded the statue to mark the occasion.

Earlier, rich tributes were paid to a decorated portrait of the leader at the PCC office here.
