Cisco introduces Industry solution Partner

Mumbai, Dec 18 (UNI) In a bid to streamline its distribution network in India, IT major Cisco today introduced the Cisco Industry Solution Partner, aimed at increasing the collaboration among channel partners and independent software vendors.

The new Industry Solutions Partner network will engage, enable and reward the community of channel partners in India, application providers and device manufacturers to collaborate and deliver industry-specific solutions that address the business needs of customers.

Partners that qualify for this new program will also be the first to have access to Cisco Partner Space, a virtual environment that facilitates the partner-to-partner collaboration required to deliver complete industry solutions.

Speaking on the new initiative, Mr Mike Allen, Senior Director of Channels, Asia pacific said, ''We want to expose our partners to a growing variety of solutions and the new solution will support our partners by providing industry training and expertise on tool based Web 2.0 technology.'' UNI
