AGP MLA admitted to Apollo

New Delhi, Dec 18 (UNI) AGP MLA Padma Hazarika, who was attacked with automatic weapons and grenades by unidentified gunmen on December 13, underwent surgery at the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital this morning.

Hospital sources said Mr Hazarika was in the surgical ICU at present.

Reports said Mr Hazarika, who was seriously injured when he was attacked by unidentified gunmen near his home in Assam, was first taken to Tezpur Civil Hospital, before being shifted to Guwahati.

He was reportedly shifted to Delhi as his condition was critical.
