43 fodder scam accused convicted

Ranchi, Dec 18 (UNI) A special designated CBI court today convicted all 43 accused facing charges in RC 50 A/96, one of multi-crore fodder scam cases.

Special judge B K Sahai gave the verdict and said the quantum of punishment would be pronounced tomorrow.

CBI Superintendent of Police R C Chaudhuri told UNI that the particular case was regarding Chaibasa treasury from which about Rs nine crore were withdrawn on forged documents in the early 1990s.
