Nobel laureate Pachauri felicitated

New Delhi, 15 Dec, 2007 : Nobel laureate R.K.Pachauri, head of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Control or IPCC on December 15th called for a cut in emission of Greenhouse gases to save agriculture.

Addressing a function organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry, Pachauri highlighted the impact of climate change on agriculture. Envisaging the challenge before the policymakers and the captains of industry, Pachauri underlined the need for initiatives to tackle the menace of climate change.
