Swami Ramdev holds yoga camp in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, Dec 17 (UNI) Yoga exponent Swami Ramdev said that opposition to Yoga from some sections of the society was due to ''ignorance about this discipline.'' ''Yoga is a discipline that ensures a healthy life, free from illnesses,'' he said, addressing reporters here last evening.

Swami Ramdev, while rueing that some people had accused him of spreading superstitious beliefs, said he himself was against superstition of any kind, spread in the name of god or religion.

Swami Ramdev is here in connection with a six-day yoga camp that he is holding at the Shivaji University grounds here from today.
