New Delhi records season's coldest day

New Delhi, Dec 17: Snow in the hilly regions and the cold north westerly winds kept the minimum temperature at 4.6 degrees celsius, three degrees below normal, maintaining a severe chill in the capital since yesterday.

Meanwhile, the sun shone brightly for the fourth consecutive day this morning, the met department said. Yesterday, the mercury had plummeted to 4.4 degrees celsius, making it the coldest day so far this season. The weathermen forecast mainly clear sky and mist for tomorrow morning. The minimum temperature would be around 3 degrees celsius.
