Nepal army chief meets Koirala after Indian visit
Kathmandu, Dec 17 (UNI) Nepalese Chief of the Army Staff General Rukmangud Katawal met Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala at the latter's official residence in Baluwatar, after returning from a weeklong visit of India.
Gen Katawal briefed Mr Koirala about his visit and meeting with Indian leaders.
He returned yesterday.
The army chief also briefed the Prime Minister about the security situation in the Himalayan nation.
He was awarded an honorary Indian Army General's commission by President Pratibha Patil during his visit.
