Governor inaugurates 'Internet Technology' conference
Bangalore, Dec 17 (UNI) The fourth international conference on 'Distributed Computing and Internet Technology' with a stress for development of e-society was inaugurated by Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Thakur said it was a significant event as it had been hosted jointly by the Centre for Electronic Governance of United Nations University and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology.
"This will go a long-way in making the country to adopt the latest advancement of technological knowledge", the Governor added.
Altogether 177 research papers dealing with issues concerning security and privacy from 20 countries will be presented.
