Chopra Commission submits report to Raj Govt

Jaipur, Dec 17: The Jasraj Chopra Committee, constituted to study the Gujjars' demand for inclusion in the Scheduled Tribe list, today submitted its report to Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.

Rajasthan Health Minister Digambar Singh said the State Cabinet would meet tommorrow and discuss the report. The Chopra Committee was constituted following an agreement between the Gujjar Arakshan Sangarsh Samiti and the State Government on June 4, in the aftermath of a violent agitation by the community in May- June this year.
