ABG Shipyard secures Rs 1,000 cr order

New Delhi, Dec 17: ABG Shipyard Ltd today said it has bagged repeat orders worth more than Rs 1,000 crores from its existing international customers.

Lamnalco Ltd has placed repeat order for two vessels for 34.20 million dollars while Maridive and Oil Services SAE Egypt placed additional two vessels at 46 million dollars.

The Company has till date constructed and delivered 7 vessels to Lamnalco and further five vessels are under construction, a company statement said.

It has delivered three vessels to Maridive and Oil Services SAE Egypt and four vessels are under advance stage of construction, the statement added.

Precious Shipping Public Company Ltd Thailand (PSL) and ESLL, Cyprus have also placed construction order of five bulk carrier at 184.48 million dollars.

The company's total order book increases to Rs 8,277 crore with these orders.
