Mount Abu records a minimum of 'minus one' in Rajasthan

Jaipur, Dec 15(UNI) Rajasthan's only hill station of Mount Abu recorded a minimum temperature of minus one (-1) degree Celsius while Churu recorded the second lowest temperature of 3.5 degrees celsius with mercury dropping a few degrees all over the state.

In the state capital Jaipur, the minimum temperature recorded was 4.8 degrees Celsius which is a drop of 3.2 degrees Celsius compared to the yesterday's temperature. The minimum temperatures recorded at other important places are Ajmer 7.2, Kota 9.0, Udaipur 8.0, Barmer and Jaisalmer 8.4, Jodhpur 9.2, Bikaner 5.6, Ganganagar 5.9 and Pilani reported a minimum temperature of 3.7 degrees Ceslius.

According to meteorological department the weather is likely to be dry in the state with clear sky for the next 24 hours.
